Health Fair Organizations

API Wellness
We are an LGBTQ and people of color health organization that transforms lives by advancing health, wellness, and equality. We believe everyone deserves to be healthy and needs access to the highest-quality health care. We foster resilience, strength, connection, health, and wellness for all communities. To us, health care will always be grounded in social justice.

Planned Parenthood Northern California
We offer friendly and compassionate health car to nearly 100,000 people a year, across a vast area that spans 20 Northern California counties from San Francisco to Del Norte on the Oregon border. Our health care services include: birth control, cancer screenings, STD testing and treatment, PrEP and PEP to prevent HIV infection, gender-affirming hormone therapy, medication and surgical abortion, counseling, prenatal care, pregnancy testing, and sterilization.

San Francisco Department of Public Health

Openhouse enables San Francisco Bay Area LGBT seniors to overcome the unique challenges they face as they age by providing housing, direct services and community programs.  As a result, we have reduced isolation and empowered LGBT seniors to improve their overall health, well-being and economic security.

Strut is the home for health and wellness in the heart of the Castro. San Francisco AIDS Foundation opened Strut in January 2016 to promote health and wellness, to strengthen our diverse communities, and to reduce the impact of HIV in San Francisco.

Queer Life Space
Queer LifeSpace is a nonprofit counseling agency that seeks to bring sustainable mental health and substance abuse services to the LGBTQQI community.

Alliance Health Project
The mission of the UCSF Alliance Health Project is to support the mental health and wellness of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) and HIV-affected communities in constructing healthy and meaningful lives.

AIDS Research Institute
The AIDS Research Institute was established at UCSF in 1996 to coordinate and integrate all of the University’s AIDS research activities. An “umbrella” to more than 50 programs and laboratories here and with our affiliated institutions, we stimulate innovation and support collaboration across scientific disciplines. We bring together hundreds of scientists to attack the epidemic from every angle, here and in scores of countries worldwide.

Good Vibrations
Good Vibrations is the premier retailer trusted for over three decades to provide high quality products, education, and information that promotes sexual health, pleasure, and empowerment. We invented the concept of the clean, well-lighted vibrator store and we’re proud to provide a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where customers can shop for sex toys, books, movies, and attend workshops.

El/La Para Translatinas
We fight for the rights of translatinas. We work to build a world where translatinas feel they deserve to protect, love and develop themselves. By building this base, we support each other in protecting ourselves against violence, abuse and illness.

Since 1989, HIVE has provided preconception and prenatal care to women and couples affected by HIV.  Since 2005, all babies born in San Francisco have been free of HIV.
