Time:
8:00 am to 2:30 pm
Place:
UCSF Fresno, Auditorium or Online Via Zoom

Misinformation and biased legislation across the country leads to implicit bias towards transgender youth. Information in many medical schools still contains many inaccurate assumptions and teaching around LGBTQ+ care in general and the connection of HIV status with the LGBTQ+ community. At the third installment in the UCSF Fresno Health Equity Symposium series, clinicians will be exposed to gender affirming care for this population: What it is and how crucial it is to gender expansive and transgender youth.
