More than 800 LGBT students, faculty, staff, residents, postdocs, and fellows at UCSF are linked via a listserv that publicizes LGBT events and news—yet, magically, does not have annoying traffic!
To join, address an e-mail to listserv@listserv.ucsf.edu with this message:
subscribe lgbt yourfirstname yourlastname
Be sure those four words are the only text in your message. You’ll receive a prompt confirmation that you’ve joined the listserv, with detailed info about how to post.
You will not be able to subscribe yourself from a non-UCSF email address. If you want to subscribe from a non-UCSF email address, please send an email descibing your UCSF affiliation to the LGBT Center for approval.
