What she likes about working at UCSF
The people.

How Marylin is OUT, IN the UCSF Community
I’m very out, both in the School of Nursing and campus-wide.

How she defines community
Community are folks that have something in common.

Communities with which Marylin identifies
The academic community, LGBT community, several professional organizations, funding institutes and agencies I’ve worked with over decades, the coastside community, my nurse colleagues and friends, and my church.

What she considers her most OUTstanding, INcredible achievement
My successful academic career.

Who are her role models
My role models are calm folks who are comfortable with who they are and very well-accomplished in the professional realm.

How Marylin would change UCSF to improve the quality of life for LGBT people
I would want to ensure that Shane Snowdon stays at UCSF, and that the Visibility Campaign continues.
