Alana has been a UCSF employee since 1972 and OUT for 28 years. Alana manages pre- and post-award research administration for a group of investigators in the School of Dentistry as a Senior Research Analyst in the Department of Orofacial Sciences at the UCSF School of Dentistry.

How Alana is OUT, IN the UCSF Community
I’m one of the founding mothers of the Lyon-Martin Women’s Health Services in 1979 and have been OUT here at UCSF for over 20 years. Dr. Peter Ralston, former chair of Anatom, was very instrumental in making it comfortable for faculty and staff to come out.
